This guy is brilliant shame he doesn’t have the entire course on here! Is on the MS Virtual Academy, which is free and course material is updated. And his C# tutorials are brilliant and put Android development tutorials to shame! The MS Virtual academy is a brilliant resource for learning C# as it covers Aync and other classes not discussed in some books. And threading is the future of computing…

I got an issue running the app in Visual Studio 2015. The problem is I can't run it on the Windows phone 8.1 emulator sdk because I guess it's not compatible with Windows 10? Is there an updated version for Windows phone 10 sdk?

    sir,
i have just started windows phone app development in visual studio 15.
i have an issue with the designer MainPage.xaml, it does not show the black screen of the phone. instead it shows the invisible background. Means just body of the phone is visible but the screen matches the phone background.
when a button is added to the grid, just the outline for changing the size of the button in seen and not the contents of the button.
i have tried many things to solve this issue but no where i can find things related to this issue.
    thank you.
