Ive never seen a smartphone with a built in projector. But here it is. Blackview is solving problems we didnt know we had with the new Max 1. A full size Laser Projector built right into the top for less than $400. Incredible. Current pricing on the Blackview Max 1 is here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32970584787.html Would you ever buy a smartphone with a projector built into the top? 2019 is a great year for Androids. Apple is still stuck in 2011.

This is beautifully clever and insane at the same time. They manage to put a Pico projector into a smartphone but they used plastic to cover it 🙁

This is… Kind of insane. First time I'm not angry it doesn't have a headphone jack.

I legitimately believe most, If not all, smart phones in the future will have projecting capabilities with high resolution. This will cater immensely to group events, business meetings in estranged locations and people that just want to show their buddies a cool video in a public place.

I think most mid rangers should have a projector

    It would be so useful

I dont expect flagships to get it because there are so bent on making the phone ridiculously thing at the expense of many useful features and hardware

It seems to be the perfect phone for kids or someone who doesn't need much from a phone but has a lot of friends or attends family gatherings all the time. You don't have to connect it to a tv through weird port, chromecast it, airplay it, nothing. Just lay it on a couple of books, prop the front up with something thin and you're set. Though it would be cool if they could sell it with like small cheap 5 dollar bluetooth remote, with like dpad, so you could just move through photos or move through the timeline in video/movie easily.
