When NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden leaked details of massive government surveillance programs in 2013, he ignited a raging debate over digital privacy and security. That debate came to a head this year, when Apple refused an FBI court order to access the iPhone of alleged San Bernardino Terrorist Syed Farook. Meanwhile, journalists and activists are under increasing attack from foreign agents. To find out the government’s real capabilities, and whether any of us can truly protect our sensitive information, VICE founder Shane Smith heads to Moscow to meet the man who started the conversation, Edward Snowden.

Organizations such as the SPLC and the ADL are going to insinuate themselves and get ahold of this Utah Camp Williams data and use it to smear/demagogue anyone whose politics (political Right) they don't approve of. Political Correctness on steroids.

3:41 Yea. You only might say 'illegally'. That's because Snowden revealed crimes against the American people, so you gotta be careful not to say a lot things about what crimes have been done by the government. Strong emotions work here for distraction purposes. Make sure you keep the focus on Snowden, and not the stuff he revealed.

First there was Religion! Then people said, "I don't believe in GOD. That someone is watching and listening to me all the time.", well, now KNOW you ARE being watched and listened to by someones. The goal is for you to Parent yourself, and not hurt others or do underhanded acts when you FEEL like nobody is watching or listening. The point of Snowden coming out was to let you know this. It was his job to appear to be a whistleblower, but he's doing this to let you KNOW you are being watched and listened to, so behave like a decent adult. Why do you think he is alive, and covered so much, and then they come out with a documentary with a CGI person letting you know they are way beyond what he supposedly leaked. He is a hero! Just not they way most "believe". Beliefs are beliefs, and are incomplete in being personally informed. KNOWING is knowing, and is fully personally informed. Start Knowing by earning it through diligence in your studies! If you want to KNOW Believe nothing! Knowledge, Understanding of that Knowledge, and WISDOM; which is how to properly apply your Understanding of that Knowledge in each and every possible circumstance, because some circumstances require This, some require That, some The Other, and everything in between, and these "3" need to be EARNED. Each being more difficult and complicated to acquire than the previous. This is why it is said, "ENLIGHTENMENT comes through SUFFERING", and why it is said, " EASY come EASY go".

believe it or not it's %100 legal for you to bug your own phone (depending on what state you live in. but if you live in a 2 party state like california, delaware, florida, illinois, maryland, massachusetts, montana, nevada, new hampshire, pennsylvania, and washington you'll need the consent of both parties). otherwise it's legal for you to record your own phone conversations

Frankly, I don't give a shit. This is the natural progression of social Darwinism meeting technocracy. There is no governmental solution outside of the destruction of society. In a libertarian government business spies on you, in authoritarian the government will. People can't wish for advancement without knowing the sacrifice, if you value your personal privacy so much than buy a phone without a camera, powerful people will find a way, and if not them than their kids will. Society will progress or be destroyed.
