We’ve put some of the best flagship phones money can buy right now to the test. We pitted the iPhone 6S, HTC 10, Huawei P9, LG G5, Samsung Galaxy S7 – the Exynos 8890 toting version – and Sony Xperia Z5 against each other.

Our camera and speed tests are now complete but now it’s time for our phones to take on the battery challenge.

test methodology deeply flawed. "max brightness" varies greatly among handsets. need to set them to externally measured, equal brightness. test results disregarded.

Thinking about the latest Nougat 7.0 and iOS 10.3 what would u say now on their battery life and optimizations of the S7 & iPhone 6S? Perhaps do a retest as it would be interesting to know with all the various updates & optimisations.

I don't get one major aspect of these battery tests. Isn't it a better comparison to set all of them to the same brightness value rather than setting them all to max brightness ? It seems like the reported values are very flawed !

Why was the Samsung hardly loading as much as the others? Pretty fucked up test. I need honest reviews and fair tests. The Apple was the fastest doing more in this battery test. Therefore of course the Apple would drain faster. How much faster would the Samsung battery drain if it was moving just as fast as the others.
