Pretty good review for the regular people. liked you more at the verge than at WSJ. I believe you had to move to the bay area for your new job with WSJ, right? Why Oakland though? Wouldn't someone as respected as you live in San Francisco or somewhere closer to SV? As a former Oakland resident, I'm curious.

What are they talking about, holding up a large smartphone to take pictures is virtually de rigueur.

Holding up a tablet is different.

That's all well and dandy, but you gave zero information about the Note9 working with the current GearVR Headset.

It’s not worth $1000 or more. You can find it with relatively cheap contracts for a one-time payment of just $230 (189€) in Germany.
    It’s probably worth around $640 (560€).

As far as user experience and usage. A CPU, and a solid purchase, a dream too use. I edit content created on it on a curved screen monitor with note connected. All apps about 100+ work nicely.
