Logitech’s Circle 2 smart home security camera works with HomeKit, and while it has an impressive feature set by itself, Apple’s camera support is lacking.

Does Logitech have any newer cameras similar to Logitech 𝘼𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙩 700e? That camera is solid with some modification to use poe and third part software .I’m still using a couple

Will you please do a video pointing out exactly where the serial number is?
And how do I remove the window mount so I can see the serial number?

Ill recommend this camera highly. Installed dozens for clients and they are always satisfied. The issue comes from poor installation, poor wifi connectivity and lack of bandwidth. I have worked for cable companies for 11 years and when i do this on the side, i always verify their internet package and sometimes either relocate their router central or recommend extenders in addition to have cameras working perfectly. This is an amazing camera. If you put this inside the house on a stand and installation takes you over 15 mins, there is something wrong with you , not the camera.

Bought 2 new Logitech Circle 2 security cameras, highly recommended by Amazon. I can't send them back fast enough, they are located within 10 feet of my router and they disconnect all the Time. To reconnect you have to be home and remove the camera's battery and reboot. I contacted Logitech to see about getting the issue resolved, I was told to have a trusted friend enter the house and reboot the cameras. Not really an option. I do like the app and when the cameras work they are fine and I do like the 24 hour playback but the disconnection is a killer.

I have had my Circle 2 since February 2018. I will not recommand buying this product. It is very technical and not a plug and play. The Logitech support just send a reference to a huge support page with some many problems.

I did a recent review vid for this camera and it's HomeKit implementation is horrible. It is far from the best HomeKit camera. On its own with it's native app it is serviceable but under HomeKit, I wouldn't recommend it.

This device really needs to have schedule feature. The Android app is pretty poor without this

Lots of bad reviews for this on Amazon, if this is the best HomeKit security camera we have a long way to go.

I have a Logi Circle 2 with window mount and the quality is awful. Does not look like 1080 at all and thats just video quality. I have to close the app and restart it nearly once a day because it won't load after so many times I open it. Someone needs to come out with a window camera because this is not good.

Indeed it's something I want, but I won't buy anything without knowing about its security. For example, in this case the video states that I'm required to start up the Logi Circle app and I have to create an account. I presume this means I'm giving Logitech my email address, physical address, age, gender, salary, phone number, personal habits, an outline of my house key and a pile of personal data that serves no purpose for the functioning of this device. Then with this data the Logi company can get the camera to send my image data to their corporate HQ. That data can include an audio stream and video stream. From which they sell my personal data to companies like Facebook. Okay, maybe I'm being slightly paranoid, but the fact that neither the company nor the reviewer even talks about security makes me want to avoid this product totally. Security should be front and center not 100% omitted.
