To change the default search engine in the search bar, go to "Launcher Settings", "Search", then "Search engine". The choice of search engines is limited right now… Thanks for watching 🙂

I like it and am using it now. Although I wish it had the tile setup! I don't have much choice for windows phone having a cdma carrier.

I would like to use it's features but I find it really ugly and unpolished… the icon grid, stiff animations, messy guideline gets me

I use nova on my daily driver phone, but I'm trying this on my tablet and secondary phone, and I really like what I'm seeing of it so far.

You missed my favorite feature! You can set up the dock to have 2 rows, 1 visible and a slow swipe brings up the bottom row. It's really handy and you can add toggles for wifi, Bluetooth, airplane mode. Plus there's a settings shortcut.

For a second there, I thought I was the only NOVA user here. I Love Microsoft Launcher, but I always go back to Nova everytime I get a new Android Phone..

People trash Microsoft for good reason… Every upgrade has many bugs, major updates almost need a new computer just to run the OS, their software is super expensive and now the latest and final upgrade is essentially spyware aka windows 10, where you can turn off most oif it but updates turn them back on again.

This is a very very intelligent move by Microsoft. They’re using the half of a million users (and more to come) as testers and at the same time they’re preparing people for a new Microsoft phone that will hit the market. Microsoft soft might have killed their phone’s os, but they’ll never give up on the phone itself. You’ll remember me. This launcher is amazing and is completely free with no ads, why? Yup. Anyway, I’ve had two issues with it. First, it uses a ton of resources and it sucks the battery much quicker than normal. Second and related to first, it lags at times to a point of a complete freeze. They’re polishing it, though. They’ll surprise us all soon.

Would be nice if you could lock the screens. I sometimes turn my phone on (Note 4) to find that the icons have moved or disappeared from the screen and I have to hunt them down and put them back. It's particularly annoying when the App Drawer icon goes missing. And getting that double row of icons at the bottom to scroll up and show the second row just doesn't work for me any more.

The Best Thing About MS Launcher Is The Fact That It Works Seamlessly W/Windows 10 on My PC & Cortana.

I'm having difficulty with my installation of the app. I use Android KitKat, but I'm not sure if the fact that it's an older version of Android is the reason I have fewer options than you have. For example, Bing wallpapers only works partially for me, it changes everyday but does not allow me to change it quickly with an allocated gesture. Another thing is that the blur effect when the transparent theme is applied is completely greyed out for me. I've had issues with Cortana but that's down to the fact that it's not supported in my country. Overall, although I like the app, with some versions it leaves much to be desired, especially since it literally dangles features right in front of your face.

Great tutorial. I wish you would do a more in-depth one that does the other settings, and explains what all of the options are. This would appeal to those switching over from Win10Mobile to Android, and would be very helpful.

Currently this is the best Launcher. Light, fast and full of necessary features. Plenty gestures support. Frequently used apps and quick contacts on feed page are quite essential. I've also installed LaunchBoard app which I trigger with gestures to easily find the needed app with just two taps. Has Zooper, KWGT and icon masking support. Lastly, is free with no Ads.

Im using it and has been using it since a long while. First on my OnePlus3T then on my samsung s7 edge after their new launcher was released. Would certainly recommend others to try it. The amount of smart settings is great and he didnt even show the custom gestures. And you can still use google assistant and google search as defaults rather then Bing. 🙂
