One of the most useful videos on iPhone mics I’ve ever seen. Always get confused with the TRS vs TRRS!!

I'm starting to use the BOYA myself. I also plan to try to use my Zoom H4n for a potential livestream. Do you think that would work?

Can I use an IQ7 zoom to record YouTube videos? If so could you do a review and how to use? There aren’t any videos that do that.

Based on your helpful review, I just purchased the Boya BY-M1. I popped the battery in there without using the little release strap and now the battery is stuck in there. Any suggestions on removal? Instructions recommend not using anything metallic.

I think Aputure is a good lav for phones/cams/recorders … I have it and the Boya … the Aputure seems to be better about background noise. Both actually sound really great if levels are set correctly.

Because I really do not like clipping my mic to my Android, I would LOVE to have a 6 inch or so adapter cable to run from my Rode Micro Me to my Android. I am mounting the mic to a frame like Beast Grip Pro and so having that short curly cable would be cool. But, I cannot find one. Ideas or links? It woulsd be even more col if it had a splitter so I could listen to the audio being recorded.

Can you do a video showing you using the mic while making a video and then editing. I’m trying to decide what to invest in and really new to all of this. I have an iPhone and iPad and really cheap, crappy HP laptop. I want to make videos but don’t know where to start. Thanks for any help.

I have a question that is a problem. I purchased the Lavalier ATR3350is two years ago and thought I would use it on my Iphone 8 for video. I have tried everything but there is barely any sound when I am tapping my finger on the mic, the microphone on the phone is louder then the external mic. I am confused and not sure if buying another mic will work. Or do I need to have my settings in my phone changed for the mic to be louder, and where if this is the case? If not what mic do I need to purchase? Thanks in advance
