Is it worth $500? I bought one this week and then a few days later I bought my wife one. It has been great. Comparing this to a midrange phone is just wrong. Imagine a world where you have midrange Chevy Cars for $$20000 and Corvettes for $40,000. That's it. Then along comes a Cadillac with the same engine as the mid-size Chevy but it also a lot more luxurious but costs $30,000. But because it has the same engine as the $20k car, ignorant people say it is a bad deal because you can buy other cars with the same engine for less. Stupid. Really stupid.

It's just a way for Blackberry to stay for a bit longer until they make another phone or go out of business. Which ever comes first.

I'm so glad there's a physical keyboard, so sick of not being able to get a decent phone because I don't like typing on a touchscreen.

This is a fantastic product. Beats IOS and cheaply made Android Phones. At $500 it is the best price performer in this category. Congratulations to Blackberry for a great product. Don't agree with Dom on this one. Phone does take a learning curve.

Worst review ever. You failed to mention there's a target market for this phone and you are clearly not in it. The hub is amazing for people using their phones for the work. People like yourself wouldn't even care or notice it since it doesn't have anything to do with taking selfies or playing games.

I love the keyboard. Main reason why I chose the phone. It's a great phone. I missed having REAL PHYSICAL BUTTONS.

Definitely disagree with writer's opinion. Just test drove one last night. Simply put, going to trade in my LG G6 without hesitation. I'm just way too tired of same lame metal glass slabs that are thrown at us consumers every year. Main reason why I'm so grateful for Android, power of choice!! For a grown man like myself who relies on my PS4 got gaming and fun, Keyone is perfect for me…. Just my opinion 🙂

"There is a ton of other phones with the same features." Really?? Name one that has a keyboard? Name one with that battery life? Name one with that security?

Traded in my Blackberry Classic last year for a Galaxy S7. I hate texting on the S7, LOVE the physical keyboard on the Blackberries. What I love about my S7 is the fact that the antenna is way better than what's in the BB classic. I get reception on my S7 in places the BB Classic could never hope to get signal, and of course the fact that there are actually apps for the S7.

What I would like to know about the Keyone is if they improved the antenna. Does it get reception as good as my S7? I would go back to Blackberry in a heartbeat if the Keyone addresses the issues I had with the BB Classic.

I think the keyboard is the best feature. If you are someone who types a lot on their phone, I don’t see how you wouldn’t appreciate tactile feedback. And the keys can work as shortcuts? I say it’s a perfect work phone.

I've bought one and the best is only the battery. The camera it's just good, but not top. Good build quality. The keyboard fails sometimes. I don't see any future for BB

Absolutely love the KeyOne – none of the faults of the Priv. Priv was my worst nightmare
KeyOne is a dream, KeyOne has great battery lie and it's form and function work really well and are intuitive. Happy with Cameras, apps, the works. Only three complaints/observations : the back touch and the close screen etc are just below the screen, and if you are typing or trying to open an app on the screo back out or close something, you end up opening an app or typing when u do not intended – you often end up hitting those if you breath on them, and visa versa, if you are trying t to. On older blackberrys those were actually keys, like the keyboard, and it was more practical, less mistakes. Otherwise I cannot think of a single complaint. I ordered it the day it was released – couldn't wait to trash my Priv (which still works for email and alll my apps, just don't have a sim card in it) as my everyday phone .Second complaint – is the cord to charge on both the Key one and the Priv attaches below the keyboard. Makes it hard to use the keyboard if you are also trying to charge the phone simultaneously. Third complaint: We all have so many chargers and what not for our android, blue tooth, kindle and non iphone items, why the heck did TCS change to a C port. What a pain, carrying extra chargers and having more wires dangling. Those are pretty minor inconveniences for a fantastic phone, and no way would the difference between a $400 and $500 price point stop me from getting a great phone. Seriously, it's like a coat or a car. You use it every day. Amortize that extra $100 over the time you'll have the phone. That's 1 or 2 dollars a week difference if you have the phone for a year or two. Don't let this stop you. Phone is best android and best blackberry yet.

2017 flagships with 635 processors like Apple 8 and Samsung Galaxy 8 nearing $1000.00; Blackberry looks pretty good. Especially on a weekend camping or canoe trip when those two have run out of battery and become useless slabs!

Decent review of a really great phone. Sure, it's very specialized. I don't think tons of people still want physical keyboards on their phones these days, but I really hope there is enough to keep BlackBerry around. It's also refreshing to see a company really pushing security on the android system, as that has long been one of my big issues with the platform. I'll have to see what BlackBerry has out next time I'm due for an upgrade.
