Wow, I'd never heard of most of these phones. I am BRAND spanking new to the smartphone world having used trusty bricks (or a cool RAZR) since 2002. Was about to go with a Blu unlocked because I'm switching over to Ting. I can't believe the prices of these things, so it's probably not going to happen. But still these look cool.

edit: wow the note 4 looks amazing. unlocked 4g versions on ebay are $600, refurbished $500 (meh?), and an HSPA+ version for $540 or so. right now, t-mobile (my current carrier) would charge me $700 for a new note 4 (forgot to ask for the model #, will have to call again tmrw), and with shipping, plus tax, it'll be a total of $757.57 (the 700 bucks being spread out over a 2 year contract), and then a $50 monthly plan minimum if I want data.

So hot damn. That's so expensive. Or I could just stick with my 3G brick and switch to a ~$30 a month indie carrier. 😐

Also, I only own mac computers and the newest is running Leopard 10.5.8. So I doubt the Note 4 and my Mac would be friends.

Im going in for an upgrade on monday. I still can't figure out which I want note 4 or 6 plus. You can't beat the note 4 specs and SD upgrade but you can't beat the apple app store and the fact that usually any type of tech invented the iPhone usually gets the integration first.

Also btw the camera that you refer to as the "front camera" is usually referred to as the "rear camera" if you consider the front of the phones as the side with the display. So for example, the "rear camera" on the xperia z3 is the 20 megapixel camera.

Go with the ATT plan and get the Note Edge and add the Samsung Gear S smart watch for only $99.00 bucks ( cost me $17 bucks after trading in my galaxy S4 )

good review, but actually iPhone is far from the best selfie camera – Oppo N3 and HTC Desire Eye is way ahead. (Oppo N3 is really interesting, you'll like it).

I made the mistake of getting an Iphone, because I have a couple Ipads. The limitations of IoS, the Limitations of the hardware… I regret my purchase.

My Biggest gripe is lack of memory expansion. I could take my entire media collection with me, If Apple only supported flash memory input. But no. Apple just wants you to buy a product that holds more memory.

Then there is Itunes. Which can be quite a hurdle in trying to manage my Itunes media collection. Itunes once sat in the background, and for no reason it re-downloaded my entire movie collection onto my computer. Terra-bites worth of internet bandwidth gone in a day because I didn't notice Itunes doing it's thing in the background. It cost me nearly $300 in overage on my monthly internet cap.

It was a pain figuring out how to get Itunes to stop demanding I “Sync” my entire device in order to add/remove media. I just want to put one movie from itunes onto my Ipad, Not backup 64gigabites worth of apps!

I prefer using a file hierarchy to keep track of my multimedia. (Like Windows Explorer.) Going through a very long, & often not so smartly laid out list of media is also an Itunes headache. I still have multiple copies of the same movie in Itunes, I just ignore them for fear of breaking Itunes…

The download Que has hundreds of movies in it. That I've already downloaded… I've had tech support clear it several times…

    blah blah blah… I really don't like Itunes…

no offense but the iPhone 6 has a better camera than the note 4 or the nexus … just because a camera has more megapixel it's not better …
