Everyone knows how to delete apps on the home screen, but not everyone knows there’s another way. A better way.

The new “Offload App” option within settings allows you to keep all your data while only deleting the actual app data. Downloading the app again brings it all back together.

    IOS 12 only has your "better" way of deleting apps you can't touch hold press x.
